Filter by assignee¶
When a project has hundreds of tasks, you'll often want to see just one person's work — yours or a teammate's. The list and canvas each offer a way to do that.
In the list view¶
The list gives you two controls, near the top:
- Assignee — a dropdown of everyone in the workspace. Pick a person to show only the tasks they're assigned to; choose all to clear it. (Press
/to jump straight to this dropdown.) - Show only my tasks — a checkbox that narrows the list to tasks you're assigned to. It stacks with the other filters.
When any filter is active, a Clear filters link appears — click it to reset everything at once.
Both controls match a task if the selected person is one of its assignees, not only the sole owner. So a task shared between you and a colleague shows up whether you filter by either of you, or tick Show only my tasks.
On the canvas¶
The canvas has a Highlight dropdown (in the bottom-right controls) instead of a filter. Pick a person — or Me — and their tasks get a coloured ring while everything else dims to half-strength.
The difference matters: highlighting doesn't hide anything. You keep the whole tree on screen and can see at a glance where one person's work sits within it. Set the dropdown back to none to clear the highlight.
